The case is an upright rectangle with its corners shaved into facets, white metal outside and a warm gold frame inside, and the bracelet is the real event: fine silver ribbing laid down in rows, with twisted gold rope running through it like a thread woven into cloth. It closes with a clasp that slides, so it settles wherever the wrist wants it.The dial keeps two levels. A silver panel at the centre, brushed so finely it looks like silk, sits inside a gold border marked with small round studs and little stepped pyramids at twelve and six. The Seiko crest sits above the name, and nothing else interrupts it.Nothing about it is loud. It simply glitters a little when you reach for something, which was the entire point, and forty years have not taken that away. Appearance;Appearance is beautiful.tiny scuffs from normal use.
