This is far from a standard graphic tee. The front artwork is constructed with a combination of hand-painted detailing, dimensional fabric appliqué, raised accents and sequins, creating a highly textured horse-racing scene with two jockeys racing in front of a grandstand. The artwork is marked “1875–1995” and also features an artist-style signature incorporated into the design.
Sportdeco is known for highly decorative hand-painted and embellished wearable-art clothing, and I have been unable to locate another example of this particular horse-racing design. Because of the individually executed nature of the artwork, this is best viewed as an OOAK / one-of-a-kind wearable-art piece rather than a conventional printed vintage T-shirt.
The shirt shows genuine vintage wear, including visible staining/spotting and age-related wear to portions of the artwork and embellishments. Nothing has been restored or altered. Please review all photographs carefully, as they form an important part of the condition description.
