These are incredibly rare, I have never seen in person or online another sealed example of this toy or one in the same format. Send me an offer, we can figure out a price. Below is all the info I got from translating and researching.
Item Specifications:
Franchise: Ultraman (Ultraman Tiga)
Characters: Ultraman Tiga (Sky Type) & Super Ancient Dragon Melba
Brand/Manufacturer: Yutaka / Distributed by Hearty Robin
Release Year: 1996 (ST 6 mark)
Material: Soft Vinyl (Sofubi)
Format: 2-Figure Blister Pack (Japanese Hook Toy)
Up for sale is a rare, factory-sealed vintage 1996 Yutaka "Showdown Set" featuring Ultraman Tiga in his agile Sky Type form alongside the kaiju Melba.
Originally distributed as inexpensive "hook toys" in Japanese supermarkets and convenience stores during the original television broadcast run of Ultraman Tiga, these sets were meant to be opened and played with immediately. Because of this, surviving examples that remain factory-sealed on their original blister cards are exceptionally difficult to find on the secondary market today.
Condition:
This item is brand new and factory-sealed. The internal soft vinyl figures are pristine and untouched. The outer packaging is fully intact, though the cardboard backing displays minor surface and edge wear consistent with a nearly 30-year-old peg toy. The blister bubble is securely attached. Please review all provided photos closely to verify the exact condition of the packaging before purchasing.
This is a fantastic, display-ready piece of 90s tokusatsu history for dedicated Ultraman collectors and vintage Japanese sofubi enthusiasts.
