Up for sale is an authentic vintage 48-star United States flag manufactured by the historic "Superior Brand." The original cloth header tag remains fully intact and lists the size as 2 1/2 x 4 ft.
This flag features traditional mid-century construction, including a heavy cotton bunting weave, a canvas header strip with solid brass grommets, and individual zig-zag machine appliqué sewn stars. The smaller 2.5x4 foot size is highly desirable and ideal for indoor framing or flat wall display. The fabric exhibits an excellent, honest vintage age patina with natural light tea-staining and handling discoloration on the white stripes as shown. No major rips, holes, or tears.
