Vintage 50's-60's Small Lidded Sewing Trinket Basket--Split Bamboo & Reed, Mint For Sale

Up for sale is an incredibly well-preserved, mid-century miniature lidded basket. It features a traditional cross-spoke base with wide, flat split-bamboo staves that radiate outward, tightly woven with fine horizontal reed/rattan elements. It comes complete with its matching, slightly domed circular flush-fit lid and a structurally sound, arched bentwood handle. This basket is at least 60 to 70 years old and is an heirloom from my family. My mom bought it from Native Americans, not realizing it was made in China, albeit well-made, mind you.
