Vintage 80s 56cm Vitus Carbone 9 frameset. 56cm seat tube and 56cm top tube measure c-c, head tube length is 15cm. Condition is \"Used\" with scratches, decal wear and general wear. Rocky Mountain bicycles imported these framesets into the Canadian market and applied their own decals on the head / seat tube. No damage or cracks on the carbon kevlar surfaces, no delamination of the clear coat finish - smooth and blemish free. The BB shell has been chamfered. The frameset features two water bottle mounts, head tube pump peg and nine carbon fiber tubes, three of which are reinforced with kevlar on the main tubes. The 979 alloy fork shows patina. The unmarked retrofriction down tube shifters and Rubis 983 23mm seatpost are included. Overall a fantastic iconic 80s frameset in great condition ready for its next journey, made by the highly skilled French engineers 🇨🇵.
