Vintage 60s (?) Hewitt Mfg firefighter jacket represents the Wayne Hose company of Stony Point, NY. One of the coolest vintage items I've run across, but sadly too large for me.
This navy blue satin-finish coach style jacket features a quilted lining for warmth and a full-zip front closure. It is heavily detailed with a large chenille Wayne Hose 18 patch on the chest, an embroidered 'Freddie' name on the right breast, a 'Driver' patch on the left sleeve, and an American flag patch on the right sleeve. The classic pointed collar and raglan-style sleeves provide a timeless athletic silhouette, perfect for collectors of first responder memorabilia or vintage workwear.
Good vintage condition: patches are clean and intact with vibrant color, zip works, no rips. Some creasing from storage and light age toning on the label.
