Unusual handmade Salvadoran shirt with a female guerrilla holding a rifle amid village houses, livestock, and a bright sun. Hand embroidered with El Salvador and FMLN—Frente Farabundo Martí para la Liberación Nacional, the guerrilla coalition associated with the Salvadoran Civil War.
Cream cotton woven fabric with colorful needlework, a stand collar, short sleeves, and a partial button front. Short, boxy shape with gathers below the chest. No fabric label.
Condition: a few faint marks, including on the lower back that have not been treated. See photos.
