In 1995 LucasArts shipped Rebel Assault II: The Hidden Empire, and somebody in the Skywalker Ranch merchandise office had this made. Not a store shirt. There is no screen print anywhere on it — the Star Wars logo, the game title, and the Rebel Alliance medal on the chest are all embroidered, and the LucasArts Gold Guy is embroidered on the left cuff. That is how you can tell what this is. Retail Star Wars shirts from the nineties were printed and sold by the thousand. Embroidered pieces like this went to staff, to press, and to people at the launch.
It is a three-button henley in navy cotton, Cotton Deluxe blank, made in the USA, which is exactly right for mid-nineties corporate apparel.

CONDITION — PLEASE READ CLOSELY
I would rather tell you about a flaw than have you discover it.
- The navy has faded. It has shifted toward a softer purple-navy, and the back is lighter across the shoulders where it has caught light over the years. Thirty years in a closet will do that. Some people want exactly this look in a vintage piece and some do not, so I am putting it first and the photographs show it honestly.
- A small pink mark on the front, lower left, roughly an inch long. Photographed close up. I have not tried to remove it.
- The embroidery is bright and fully intact on both the chest and the cuff, with no pulled or missing threads
- All three buttons present and secure
- Collar has its shape with no stretching or fraying
- No holes, no underarm staining, no repairs
- Cuffs and hem are sound
