Origin & Markings: Signed by an unknown artist in the lower-left corner with an illegible signature. The wooden stretcher bar is stamped \"8 F,\" denoting an authentic French origin and traditional \"8 Figure\" canvas size (measuring roughly 18\" x 15\"). The back of the stretcher bar also features faded, handwritten pencil inscriptions that are difficult to definitively decipher, but appear to be old gallery lot numbers or previous owner marks.
Hardware: Features an attached top string for immediate wall hanging.
Condition: Authentic vintage condition. This piece is intentionally unframed, exposing the raw canvas edges. The edges display visible mounting staples alongside original hand-stretching tack holes spaced roughly every three inches. The extreme outer perimeter shows typical age-related wear, minor paint rubbing, and discoloration from previous framing and decades of handling.
