Indian Nandi Sacred Bull Bronze / Copper Alloy Hindu Sculpture
Detailed small sculpture depicting Nandi, the sacred bull associated with the Hindu god Shiva.
Nandi is shown in the traditional reclining position and is elaborately decorated with raised necklaces, ornamental harnesses and ceremonial trappings.

CONDITION:
Pre-owned with age and handling wear throughout.
The surface has a dark patina with areas of rubbing, scratches, oxidation and color variation. Green verdigris/corrosion is visible on the underside of the base, consistent with a copper-containing metal.
