Vintage matching pair of Chinese ancestor portrait wall plaques featuring seated male and female figures in traditional court-style attire.Each plaque measures approximately 22” tall × 16” wide and features raised, carved and hand-painted hardstone/soapstone-style figures mounted on wood panels with a distinctive deep red and black crackle finish.Both retain their decorative geometric brass hanging hardware.These closely resemble documented Macau export ancestor panels from the mid-to-late 20th century.
