Up for sale is a beautiful vintage East Indian tribal-style bone / bovine bangle bracelet with a hinged pull-pin closure. This heavy, chunky piece is crafted from two thick segments of polished natural bovine bone attached by a sturdy silver-tone metal hinge.
It features a traditional, fully functional mechanical pull-pin locking mechanism that holds the bracelet securely on the wrist. The exterior of the bone features a gorgeous, natural creamy beige coloration with striking reddish-brown grain patterns running along the center, giving it an authentic, earthy appearance. The interior displays a rich, textured natural grain texture.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with a beautiful natural patina. The bone features some surface character lines and natural aging marks consistent with vintage items of this style, which only add to its unique tribal aesthetic. The metal hinge and pull-pin closure work perfectly.
