Vintage Santa Claus Figure Figurine withSpringFlying Doll Christmas Japan Felt Pipe Cleaner Candy Cane 1960's.
Marked Japan on the bottom of the boots on this vintage Santa Claus Figure. There is no date and based on details from the 1960’s. Please do not purchase if this is a concern for you regarding age.
Made of the cloth material along with felt hands and pipe cleaner red/green candy cane shape, chenille type leaves, wrapped presents on the back of Santa in a Red/White stripe sack. There are a couple of red holly type accents attached to the leaves in this area and they have chip marks on them.
There is a partial spring just under the sack on the back and I believe this can be used to display Santa as “Flying”. Will require additional string/or some type of cord to attach to the spring that is on Santa’s back.
Very nice coloring and clean condition overall on this vintage Santa figure. Nice facial features on Santa and coloring. There is very light paint wear on the face area. The trim/cuffs around the hands area is discolored compared to other areas with similar trim. May be in the making since they match in color. Some spotting marks on the trim on Santa's hat as shown in close up photos. Please do not purchase if this is a concern for you.
Nice details with the two jingle bells on the end of the long hat on Santa. Arms will bend as shown in various poses. The belt attached to the outfit is off center and cannot be moved.
