Beautiful vintage framed 21 long x 1 foot wide Portrait of Confucius featuring traditional Chinese imagery, Chinese characters and historical text. Professionally matted in dark green and displayed in an ornate gold-tone frame. The original paper backing remains intact and bears a vintage Paul R. Roberts Custom Built Picture Frames, Jennings, Louisiana label. The back is also handwritten, “This picture is framed with the finest Non Glare Glass.” Attractive vintage condition with age-related wear to the frame and backing as shown in photos. Exact age and origin of the print are unknown, so it is being offered as a vintage decorative/collectible piece rather than an original antique Chinese artwork.
