Vintage GE General Electric Model P856B Portable AM/FM Radio - Untested
Up for sale is a vintage General Electric Model P856B portable AM/FM transistor radio. The radio is being sold as untested and takes 6 D batteries. Radio is in overall good shape but does need a good deep cleaning, and the leather on the handle has some issues. The antenna goes up and down fine, but it might need some oil at the base because it does not move on its base and has some play where it is mounted. Very little, but I thought it should be mentioned. It might move with some force, but I do not want to bend it. Maybe taking it apart and oiling it would be best. Rare radio, and with a little work could be a very fine radio. See pictures for best description.
