Up for sale is a classic turn-of-the-century H. Böker & Co. 2-blade jack knife, featuring the rare "H. BÖKER & CO'S IMPROVED CUTLERY" tang stamp alongside the iconic Tree Brand mark on the blade face. Dated from the late 1890s to early 1920s, this pocket knife is a fantastic piece of antique cutlery craftsmanship.
Condition & Highlights:
Mechanical Function: Outstanding. Both blades feature strong spring tension with fantastic snap ("walk and talk") and zero blade wobble or play when fully extended.
Blades: Cleaned, sharp carbon steel spear-point main blade and secondary pen blade with visible historical patina.
Handles & Frame: Jigged scales with classic oval shield. There is a small historic chip out of the scale near the top rivet, but the handle material is 100% stable, smooth, tight, and completely solid with no flaking or movement.
Liners & Bolsters: Brass liners and steel bolsters are tight, straight, and structurally sound throughout.
A tight, fully functional antique Böker that is ready for display, collection, or everyday carry. Please review all detailed photos for exact cosmetic condition.
(This is not a chip in the blade. These were made this way for cutting)
