Color: Smoky soft blue frosted cylinder body tapering into deeper translucent cobalt-blue molded handles.History: In the 1800s, hollow glass rolling pins were prized by bakers (often chilled with ice or cold water to keep pastry flakier) and frequently kept as sailor’s folk tokens for good luck in the home.Condition: Excellent antique condition with no structural cracks or damage outside of the expected rough pontil break from the glassblower’s rod.
