Up for sale is a beautiful, highly unique vintage hand-carved wooden cat and kitten trinket box. This gorgeous piece of folk art features a detailed mother cat in a resting pose with a small kitten intricately carved and nested securely on her back.
This is a clever two-part design where the top section lifts away smoothly to reveal a hidden storage compartment/stash box inside the body of the mother cat. Perfect for storing small jewelry, keepsakes, coins, or secret trinkets, it functions beautifully as both an eye-catching decorative sculpture and a functional storage container.
Crafted from solid wood with rich, warm natural grain variations and smooth, polished contours, this charming piece blends effortlessly with Mid-Century Modern (MCM), bohemian, rustic, or primitive home decor styles.
