Rich dark green-to-black lacquer ground decorated with soft hand-painted floral sprays of roses, tulips, and peonies in creamy white, soft pink, and peach tones with green foliage. Features a gently arched dome lid, solid brass side handles, brass hinges, and decorative brass corner protectors. The interior is finished in glossy black lacquer.

• Condition: Very good vintage condition. Attractive age-related crackling to the lacquer surface (common and desirable on these pieces). Minor surface wear and small paint losses consistent with age. Hardware shows a nice mellow patina. Interior is clean and glossy.
A decorative mid-century piece (circa 1960s–1980s), most likely Chinese export or Asian-inspired, made for the Western market. Perfect as a keepsake box, jewelry box, or stylish decorative accent.
