Vintage Hand Painted Terracotta Grape Harvester Figurine, Signed Base:
$40.00
Charming vintage hand-painted terracotta figurine of a grape harvester, in the tradition of Provençal santons and European folk art. He wears a wide-brimmed hat, a blue jacket with rows of silver buttons, a cream vest, and a tan sash, with a woven basket of red grapes balanced on his shoulder and a second overflowing basket at his feet. Wonderful detail and expression. A lovely piece for a nativity or village display, a wine lover's shelf, or a collection of European folk art.
