Up for sale is a stunning, exceptionally detailed vintage Italian porcelain collector charger plate executed in the distinctive Capodimonte high-relief style.
This statement piece features a deeply embossed classical figural scene hand-painted in rich pastels, showcasing putti, angels, and mythological figures amidst sweeping trees and floral swags. The outer rim is elegantly shaped with wavy scallops and accented by fine gold gilt detailing along the perimeter and inner borders.
The reverse side is hand-marked with the pattern/model sequence: "2071 ITALY CAPODIMONTE". It also features a pre-attached structural wire loop for immediate, secure wall hanging.
Condition:
Beautiful vintage condition with no structural chips or cracks on the face. The hand-painted colors remain exceptionally bright and vibrant. There is very minor, age-appropriate wear to the gold gilding on the high-relief outer highlights. The reverse shows typical unglazed shelf wear on the foot rim consistent with age.
