Large vintage Italian terracotta jug or ewer featuring an elaborate raised dragon motif with deeply carved and incised decoration throughout the body. The piece has a dramatic loop handle, flared pouring mouth, dark brown-black glazed finish, and warm reddish-brown terracotta visible beneath the worn surface.
The heavily textured design gives the vessel a strong sculptural appearance, with dragon imagery and geometric carved detailing wrapping around the body.
