Remarkably, the original front J.C. Higgins decal remains bright, crisp, and almost entirely intact. Latch, hinges, and handle are sturdy and fully functional.* **Interior:** The multi-tier cantilever trays fold out smoothly. The interior metal shows visible surface rust scaling and pitting, particularly centered in the bottom storage basin (see photos). The original cork liners are present but show expected wear, staining, and minor crumbling along the edges.
