VINTAGE JAPANESE DRAGON PAGODA INCENSE BURNER / CENSER – STAMPED JAPAN

Striking vintage Japanese dragon incense burner featuring an ornate three-dimensional dragon wrapped around a miniature pagoda-style censer. This highly detailed two-piece design has a removable pagoda lid with pierced openings at the top for releasing incense smoke, creating a wonderful decorative display whether used or simply collected.

The underside is clearly stamped “JAPAN,” confirming Japanese manufacture.

Finished in an antiqued gold / brass-tone metal with dark recessed detailing that beautifully emphasizes the dragon’s scales, face, claws, curling tail, architectural roof, geometric Greek key / meander border, swirling cloud motifs and waves along the base.

Although vintage, this example appears exceptionally well preserved and does not show obvious signs of having been burned or heavily used. The interior appears remarkably clean for an incense burner of this age. Listed as New (Other) because it is a vintage item without original retail packaging and may show minor age/storage wear.
