This silvertone metal trinket box was created in Occupied Japan (1947-1952). It features a dragon design on the top and 4 sides. It is lined with a thin, dark wood. The wood has some wear. There is a significant amount of tarnish. The last photo shows the hinge on the back of the box. Part of the hinge is missing, but it still functions. The box is elevated on 4 tiny feet. The box is 3\"x3.5\"x1.5\".
