Up for sale is a stunning, vintage Japanese Imari-style porcelain plate crafted in the historic Arita region. This piece features a classic six-panel segmented design radiating out from a central cobalt blue floral medallion. The vibrant pattern beautifully alternates between detailed rust-red and gold floral crests and delicate background vignettes depicting birds (cranes/phoenixes) among cherry blossom trees.
The back of the plate is decorated with traditional hand-painted blue and red rim sprays and bears the authentic three-character red kanji stamp: 有田焼 (Arita-yaki / Arita Ware).
An exceptional addition to a Chinoiserie gallery wall, Asian art collection, or as a statement display piece in a china cabinet.
