Rice/Soup/Candy bowls appears to be a genuine carved lacquer bowl (Kamakura-bori style) rather than a molded resin imitation.

Visual Evidence of AuthenticitySharp Knife Cuts: The grooves between the petals show sharp, angled flat planes. Molded resin has rounded, smooth gullies because it must slip easily out of a liquid mold.

Carving Chisel Marks: Look closely inside the main red flower petals. You can see slight vertical ridges left behind by a handheld carving tool (chisel chatter), which only happens with hand craftsmanship.

Red Interior Finish: The vibrant red interior surface is smooth and characteristic of traditional Japanese lacquerware (urushi), which is typically applied over a lightweight carved wooden body.
