I am the original owner of this Kingsize Cadillac Convertible. My Dad bought it for me new back when these were sold and have had it ever since.
The car itself is in really exceptional cosmetic condition for its age. The red finish is still bright and glossy, and the chrome, interior, windshield, steering wheel and wheels all present very well. It has spent most of its life stored in its original box.
The original Kingsize Cadillac box and cardboard packing insert are included. The box definitely shows its age with staining, edge and corner wear, and some old tape/label residue. Please look at the photos for condition.
I put two fresh D batteries in it and tested it.
The horn works when you push the steering wheel.
The headlights do not work.
It does not currently move forward or backward.
That\'s as far as I went with it. I have not taken it apart or attempted any repairs, and I\'m not going to. Someone familiar with these old battery-operated toys may know exactly what it needs, but I don\'t, so it is being sold as-is with the functions described above.
I\'ll include the two D batteries I used to test it.
This is the actual Cadillac I have owned since it was new, not something I picked up recently to resell. What you see in the photos is exactly what you will receive.
