Vintage Lodge No. 9 Cast Iron Round Griddle:

This is a vintage Lodge No. 9 Round Griddle that is pretty in pictures and elegant in hand. The surface is entrancing and has something of a beauty spot (pictured: rust mark, right side) that does remind you of its age. The griddle sits flat, but the outer rim of the piece extends past the center cooking surface. This elevates the cooking surface and may impact glass-top surfaces. Coil and gas surfaces will not have this issue. The cooking surface is 10\" across, 14\" handle to end, and the outer rim that elevates the surface is 10¼\". Please double check these dimensions when considering your cooking surface. The handle has a graceful arch to it as well. The underside is nearly flawless and the 9 is the only definite marking. I may be crazy, but I think I see a shadow of a bottom marking, close to the handle, but there is not enough to be sure about. This piece is priced to cook and will be a treat to own.
