Beautiful vintage Lord Elgin men\'s dress watch from the early 1960s, featuring a 23-jewel, American-made Elgin caliber 770 manual-wind movement and a classic 10K gold-filled case.
This watch has recently undergone a complete movement service performed by a watch restoration hobbyist. The movement was disassembled, cleaned, lubricated, and reassembled. The case and exterior have also been carefully cleaned.
The watch is running following its service. It is fitted with a handsome brown leather strap that complements the champagne dial and gold-tone case.
Condition and Service:
The watch presents attractively for its age, with a clean champagne dial, elegant gold-tone hands, and a polished vintage case.
The caseback has visible scratches and normal age-related wear. Some wear is also present on the case and lugs. The hands show signs of age. Please examine all photographs carefully.
Please Note:
This is a vintage mechanical watch over 60 years old. Timekeeping can vary depending on position, winding, and use. No modern water-resistance guarantee is provided. Service was performed by a hobbyist rather than a professional watchmaking business.
A beautiful example of American watchmaking history, suitable for wearing, collecting, or adding to a vintage watch collection.
