Up for sale is a vintage 1970s Ludwig 9x13 concert tom in the desirable Black Cortex finish with an original Blue & Olive badge.
This is an original USA-made Ludwig drum featuring the sought-after 6-ply shell (without reinforcement rings), Classic lugs, triple-flanged hoop, and the original Ludwig concert tom clip mounting bracket.

Condition:
Overall, this drum is in very nice vintage condition. The Black Cortex wrap has an excellent gloss with only light cosmetic wear consistent with normal use. The chrome is bright and clean with typical age-related wear. The shell interior is clean, the bearing edges are in very good condition, and the drum is structurally sound with no extra holes or modifications.
The Remo batter head shows normal stick marks from use.
This is an excellent original Ludwig concert tom that is becoming increasingly difficult to find in Black Cortex. It would make a great addition to a vintage Ludwig kit or a fantastic player\'s drum.
