Classic vintage Mid-Century Modern heavy glass and silverplate ashtray, circa 1950s–1960s.
Beautifully simple architectural design with a thick, substantial clear glass body set within a square silverplate surround. Four sculpted corner cigarette rests frame the deeply recessed round center well. The combination of exceptionally heavy glass and restrained metalwork gives it a handsome, high-quality look typical of mid-century barware and smoking accessories.
Measures approximately 4" square and weighs a substantial 1 lb 0.7 oz.

Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. Silverplate has tarnish, oxidation, spotting and surface wear as shown. Glass has light scratches and normal surface wear but presents beautifully. No major chips or cracks observed. Unpolished and offered as found. Please examine photographs closely for condition.
