Brighten up your bookshelf or office space with this delightful pair of unique, authentic vintage Mid-Century Modern kitsch bookends! Made in Japan during the golden age of retro export novelties, these hollow ceramic bookends are full of color and character. Each bookend features a detailed, hand-painted Mexican mariachi musician playing a guitar while framed by a stylized courtyard archway complete with an orange tiled roof and crawling green cacti. Both pieces feature their original protective green felt bases and still carry the gold foil "Made in Japan" label on the bottom. So nifty!

Condition Note: This pair is in wonderful vintage shape. The paint is highly intact, clean, and vibrant. There are only a couple of small chips to the paint, no cracks, or past repairs.
