Charming vintage articulated wooden elephant, stamped Kay Bojesen Denmark. Bojesen’s oak elephant design dates to 1953. The figure has a warm, well-patinated wood surface, expressive little eyes, and movable parts. It measures approximately 9 inches long with the trunk raised, 6 inches long with the trunk lowered, and 4.75 inches tall.Condition: Vintage wear and surface marks throughout. There is a visible crack or split across the back of the head, with some roughness along the line. It does not affect the figure’s stability or movement.
