I am fast realizing that Mid-Century Modern enthusiasts do not play about their furniture, and for good reason. The clean lines and straightforward design create a quiet beauty that still commands the room. Like most MCM pieces, this vintage teak unit is especially beautiful in person; the warm grain catches natural light in a way the photographs do not fully capture.
Acquired from the original owners, who had owned it for approximately 50 years, the unit remains in excellent vintage condition. It separates into two pieces (a top hutch and a base) and includes integrated lighting. The shelving lends itself beautifully to records, books, glassware, or barware, making it equally at home as a wall unit, listening cabinet, bar cabinet, or a combination of all three.
How to Style:
Pair it with cream upholstery, black accents, warm metal, smoked glass, or a even a pop of color like burgundy. It works especially well in an MCM or collected modern space.
