For sale is a very well-preserved vintage Nikko Super Mag «High Performance Racer» from the late 80s / early 90s — one of the most iconic toy-grade RC buggies of its era!

What you get — complete original set:

• Nikko Super Mag buggy (black body with original bright stickers )
• TWO original 27.145 MHz transmitters:• Pistol-grip «Turbo System» controller (Turbo / Low / Reverse)• Classic brick-style «Full Function» controller
• Turbo Racing 7.2 V Ni-Cd battery pack
• Original Archer (RadioShack) wall charger (120 V US plug)
• All original wiring and Tamiya-style connectors

Condition & functionality:

• Fully tested and WORKING — car drives forward, backward, left, right on both controllers.
• Turbo mode works, steering is responsive.
• Cosmetics: body, decals, wheels and chassis are in great shape for its age (minor play wear, no cracks or major damage — see photos).
• Battery holds charge and runs the car, but as typical for 30+ year old Ni-Cd packs, it no longer delivers full original power/speed (runs slower than when new, about 60-70 % of original performance). Perfectly usable as-is, or easy to replace/upgrade with modern 7.2 V pack.
