Vintage Olds Ambassador Baritone Horn 3 Valve Brass Instrument W/ Case. Handle on case needs repair.
Vintage F.E. Olds & Son Ambassador three-valve baritone horn with fitted hard case. Manufactured in Fullerton, California, this substantial vintage brass instrument features an upright bell, three piston valves with white finger buttons and the Olds Ambassador engraving on the bell.
An appealing piece for vintage brass instrument collectors, restoration enthusiasts, musicians or display.
CONDITION: Offered as found, unrestored and untested for musical performance. Assume it needs some reconditioning before use.
The instrument exhibits significant age and use, including extensive lacquer loss, tarnishing, oxidation, scratches, scuffs and finish discoloration. Much of the lacquer has worn away from the large upper and lower tubing curves, exposing the underlying brass and creating a distinctive aged appearance.
There are visible dents and dings, including areas along the main body and tubing. Please examine the detailed photographs for the extent of cosmetic wear.
All three piston valves and their white finger buttons are present. Valve operation, compression, internal condition and overall playability have not been verified. The instrument has not been professionally inspected or serviced and may require cleaning, lubrication, adjustment or repairs before use.
No mouthpiece is included.

Includes a fitted vintage hard case with red plush interior, metal trim and latches. The case shows age-related wear, scuffs and interior wear.
IMPORTANT: The case’s carrying handle is BROKEN. Specifically, the hard material under the leather presents as crushed. It feels like it is in several pieces.
