Vintage Original Timex 1970’s Unisex Watch Manual Wind Bullseye 1971’ Works Runs For Sale

Original 1971’ Timex manual wind Chrome unisex Bullseye wrist watch. Watch is in very nice overall vintage condition. NOTE- Under magnification or extreme close up you can see some age texturing happening in areas of the painted rings (again very hard to see without enlargement/magnification but is there and mentioning for listing accuracy).

There are some very faint scrapes/scratches on the original crystal but looks fabulous for its age. Overall the watch looks phenomenal for being approximately 55 years old.

The watch winds and runs very well, the time accuracy depends on the day actually. Some days it seems to be very accurate and others it can be off anywhere from 30 seconds to a few minutes. Weather temps etc seem to be part of the equation.

PLEASE NOTE- Timex watches always ran within (30 seconds - 2 minutes) within a days time even when new. These vintage original Timex watches were not built to be precision Swiss movements competing with Rolex/Omega, but rather an extremely reliable durable watch you could go out to dinner in and come home and chop wood later that night if needed without worry, they were designed to be within reason for time keeping and reasonably affordable for the average working man as well as practically indestructible essentially for all day everyday use.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE- If you do need precision perfect time keeping you will most certainly want a new quartz watch, not a vintage mechanical movement by any means.
