Vintage Parker Vacumatic Emerald Pearl Fountain Pen 14K Gold Nib Untested.
Description
Authentic vintage Parker Vacumatic fountain pen in the desirable Emerald Pearl striped celluloid pattern, dating approximately from the late 1930s to 1940s.
The cap and barrel are constructed from laminated celluloid with alternating dark green, black and translucent horizontal bands. This distinctive construction allowed the ink level to be viewed through the barrel. The pen features gold-filled or gold-tone trim, Parker arrow clip, decorative engraved cap band and an original Parker 14K gold nib.
The blind cap unscrews properly and remains with the pen. The internal Vacumatic filling mechanism has not been restored or tested, and the old rubber diaphragm will likely require replacement before regular use.

Condition:
Good unrestored vintage condition with scratches, scuffs, surface wear and discoloration consistent with age and use. Gold-colored trim shows wear and tarnish. The nib has not been tested for alignment, smoothness or ink flow. The filling mechanism has not been tested and should be presumed to need professional restoration, including replacement of the internal diaphragm.
No cracks are immediately obvious in the photographs, but please inspect all images closely. Sold untested and as-is for restoration or collection.
