Nice vintage Pflueger Rocket No. 1355, Made in U.S.A., with original box and accessories.
Reel features polished Diamolite finish, level wind, anti-backlash mechanism, star drag and 3.6-to-1 gear ratio. It has been tested and is fully functional. The reel presents very well, with a bright finish and only minor wear consistent with age and use.
Included are the original Pflueger Rocket No. 1355 box, original instruction/care sheet, period purchase/exchange paperwork (from Foster Air Force Base either 1953 or 1955), vintage Pflueger Speed Reel Oil No. 379 bottle, and loose spare/service parts shown in the photographs.
The original box has substantial exterior wear from age and storage but is intact, and its graphics remain attractive and readable. Paper items have normal age toning, folds and wear.
A particularly nice group for a Pflueger, vintage fishing tackle or antique reel collection.
