Vintage heavy-duty precision compound-angle machinist vise measuring approximately 9” x 7” x 6”. Substantial all-metal construction with adjustable screw-operated jaws and dual graduated angle scales for positioning work at controlled angles.
Designed as precision workholding equipment for machining operations such as milling, grinding, drilling, shaping, jig work and toolroom applications. The articulated base permits angular positioning beyond the capabilities of a conventional fixed vise.
Original aged working finish remains intact with visible oxidation, surface discoloration, machining residue, scratches and general shop wear consistent with long-term industrial use. No restoration or refinishing has been performed.
