Vintage Pyrex Friendship Casserole Pair with Glass Lids – 472 & 473
Offered together is a nice pair of vintage Pyrex casseroles associated with the popular Friendship pattern, featuring the distinctive red and orange Pennsylvania Dutch-style birds and floral design.
Included:
Pyrex 472 – 1½ Pint Casserole
White milk glass with red and orange Friendship bird and floral decoration.
Pyrex 473 – 1 Quart Casserole
Solid red/orange exterior with white interior, coordinating with the Friendship series.
Both original-style Pyrex glass lids are included. Lid markings are shown in the photographs.
The Friendship graphics remain bright and attractive with very little apparent decoration loss. The solid red casserole does have some cloudiness to the glass from previous use/age.
Please note that one lid has an approximately 3/4-inch-long chip along the underside/inner rim. The damage is shown clearly in the close-up photograph. Because it is on the underside, it is considerably less noticeable when the lid is in place, but it is disclosed for accuracy.
No other chips or cracks noted during our inspection.
A very attractive pair for a vintage Pyrex collection, retro kitchen display, or to fill out a Friendship set.
Both casseroles and both lids shown are included.
