Vintage ALCE Alluminio Puro Neapolitan Flip-Drip Coffee Maker — Made in Italy
A classic piece of Italian coffee culture: this is a genuine Neapolitan flip-drip coffee maker, known in Italy as a "cuccuma" or "cuccumella" — the traditional stovetop brewer famously featured in classic Italian films. Made from pure aluminum by ALCE, stamped clearly on the base with their maker's mark and moose-head logo.
How it works: Water goes in the bottom chamber, ground coffee sits in the perforated middle compartment, and once heated, the whole pot is flipped so gravity drips the water through the grounds into the spouted top chamber — producing rich, strong coffee the traditional way.
