Beautiful authentic mid century Rosenthal porcelain figurine of a rearing stallion \"Hengt in Lavade\". This classic piece is by celebrated animal sculptor Theodor Karner and showcases spectacular movement and a high gloss white glaze. The underside has original factory paper label matching the stamped model number (774/0100), as well as the green underglaze Rosenthal Germany crown mark. The body, legs, tail, and base of horse are in excellent clean vintage condition without cracks. Note On Ear: There is a noticeable area of roughness around the left ear of the stallion. Please see photos. It appears toe that some of the glaze has flaked off. I\'m not sure. The price has been discontinued accordingly.
