Vintage Soviet 875 silver tea glass holder, made in the Armenian SSR in 1956.
The piece is hallmarked 875, indicating 87.5% silver purity, and also bears a maker’s mark that appears to read “AA6.” The final digit is consistent with the year 1956.
The holder features attractive openwork decoration with stylized floral motifs and engraved details. The interior has a warm golden tone, likely traces of the original gilding. The bold geometric handle is characteristic of mid-20th-century Soviet design.
There is also an old commemorative inscription/engraving on the body, adding historical character to the piece.
Condition is good for its age, with natural patina, tarnish, light scratches, and normal signs of use. No major structural damage is visible in the photographs.
