Rare vintage Soviet red plastic storage box / decorative souvenir case from the USSR period.
The front lid features a raised relief scene with Soviet military / revolutionary figures and the city name “Куйбышев” — Kuybyshev, now Samara, russia. The upper inscription reads “Этих дней не смолкнет слава”, which can be translated as “The glory of these days will not fade.”
The design appears connected with Soviet patriotic memory and the famous Kuybyshev / Chapaev monument theme. The bright red color, strong relief details, and bold propaganda-style composition make this piece very visually powerful and collectible.
