Up for sale is a vintage Steiff teddy bear. With tag.
This is an adorable Victorian Lady Teddy Bear, #0156/36, a USA Exclusive Limited Edition Steiff bear issued from 1987 to 1989. This teddy bear is in excellent condition and stands 15 inches tall. It is one of the Steiff "Victorian Collection" series.
This Victorian Lady bear has its original Steiff brass button and yellow cloth ear tag which reads "Steiff KNOPF IM OHR 0156/36" on one side and "Made In Western-Germany, Covering 60% Wool 40% Cotton" on the other side.
Victorian Lady has black eyes, an embroidered black nose, mouth and claws. She is made of blonde colored mohair and is dressed in her beautiful, intricate costume of burgundy satin edged with black braid and matching bonnet with tulle and flowers attached with a matching ribbon to hold it in place. Her paw pads are a light tan felt material. This bear has the jacket only. Originally there were pants with this outfit.
In excellent condition. Never used.
Just adorable and a great addition to any Steiff collection.
