Vintage Studio Art Pottery Weed Pot Vase Drip Glaze Leather Strap Wood Stopper
This hand-thrown stoneware piece features a classic, full bulbous body with a textured, mottled earth-tone glaze.It has its original hand-carved wooden peg stopper with a leather tether. It is hand-signed on the underside. (See photos for signature detail) Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or repairs. The leather tether on the stopper needs to be reattached - it has dried out. The wood is well-preserved. There is a small indentation on the unglazed base (see final photo). This appears to be a natural production artifact from the kiln or the hand-throwing process rather than a post-production chip, as the texture is consistent with the rest of the base.
Measures 6\" tall and 7\" with stopper.
