DESCRIPTION:
This classical gold-on-white Meissen bowl has symmetrically raised scrolling leaf flourishes and a softly scalloped rim. It is absolutely rococo! It is signed with the Meissen crossed swords mark along with two embedded stamps (“B150” and “33r”) and “375” and “14” painted in gold on the bottom. Measures 11” in diameter x 2 ¼” tall; base is 5”. Handmade and hand painted in Germany. Meissen, established in 1710, is Europe’s oldest porcelain manufacturer still in business today.Local pick-ups okay.
